Sweet Girl

I hung out with a sweet, sweet baby girl this morning. Seeing newborns latley has made me miss my Emily being that little. Although, I don't miss the sleepless nights. =) Speaking of sleep, this sweet girl was not getting any today. My newbie clients lately have been WIDE awake! Being this alert makes it a bit more challenging, but we get some sweet shots anyway. She even let me pose her all curled up on her bed...with some help from the paci and mom. =)

Worth The Wait

Oh my goodness! This sweet baby boy was worth the wait on two accounts...

1). Poor baby had to spend some time in the NICU and didn't get to come home as soon as most babies. But, he pulled through his ordeal with lots of prayers and is doing great now!

2). This sweet baby boy also had me (and his Mommy) working hard this morning! I was getting a little worried that we wouldn't get any good pictures of him all sleepy and curly. =) He was so awake and was only content when his Mommy was cuddling or feeding him. But, he eventually came around and let me get some cute shots! Thank goodness!

This is what I thought all the pictures would end up looking like! Haha!

Blue Eyed Girl

I hung out with a dear old friend and her ADORABLE baby girl this morning. Miss Willow doesn't know how far me and her Mommy go back...way back..to about the 10th grade. We have some crazzy stories to tell our girls one day...or, maybe it better they didn't hear them...haha.

Miss Willow has the most gorgeous blue eyes! I LOVE taking pics of babies with blue eyes. This baby girl was so sweet for me - even through several outfit changes...she was a trooper.

Must Love Dogs

I got to hang out with the sweetest couple this morning. They are expecting their first sweet baby and I can totally relate to their excitement. This time last year, I was getting ready for my Emily to arrive...oh, how fast the time has flown by!

When Beth first contacted me about taking some pics, she mentioned she wanted to get some shots with her dogs. If you know me, you know I'm a huge dog person. My little maltese, Gracie and Harlee, are my "other children." So, I loved getting the pups involved...they are part of the family after all. =)

Miracle Baby

I spent all afternoon with the sweetest little miracle baby. This little guy gave everyone a scare when he decided to have a heart arrhythmia early in his development. But, with a little medicine and a lot of prayers, he now has a perfectly beautiful heart! Born at 37 weeks and 5 days with his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck twice with a knot in it, he came into the world a little fighter! I'm pretty sure he has a few guardian angels watching over him upstairs. =)

This sweet guy has the best parents (I know, because I've known them for a looong time). His mommy is one of my best friends; hence, the pics of my Emily in a few of these...she doesn't generally come along to photo shoots with me (unless she is in them), but since these guys are like family to me, she got to hang out with us too. =)
