Ok... so it's been a while since we've done anything. Things have been crazy busy with new little Emily here and raising a 5 month old! But I've missed doing shoots and was so happy to be able to shoot the Thompson family! Last minute kinda shoot - she called and asked if we could do it and I wasn't doing anything so I was ready! I also wanted to try out a new location and it turned out great! Thanks Jennifer for letting me capture your family - ya'll are gorgeous!! Your girls truly are precious!! So last night was my first shoot to do in a VERY long time - since before Abby was born! Missy and Phillip are getting married in May so we decided to play around with some engagement pics. Even though it is now fall, it nearly felt like the middle of summer doing this shoot! They were troopers though - thanks! I even got to "play" with the new camera. Haven't really had a chance to take pics with it yet. Thanks for the opportunity (and patience) Phillip and Missy! Here are just a few of my favs from last night. . . .

Spent the morning with Eric, Joly, and baby Carter. I've known this sweet baby boy since he was born and can't beleive he is already a year old and running around! They grow up so fast! He is such a flirt with those long eye lashes...he just came to me and gave me a big hug while I was sitting on the ground taking pics of him. So Sweet!

I spent Saturday morning with the sweetest family! Not only did we have fun taking pics of sweet Ross, but we also shared a common bond - Ross' mommy, Holly, and I both lost a parent suddenly to cancer - she lost her dad about 5 years ago. While it's not always a fun subject to talk about, it's great meeting someone who can really relate to what you went through (and are still going through today). Guys, thanks again for such a great morning. Here are some of my fav shots from our session...more to come soon!
